It should be noted, however, that for a wholesale operation for south-west mowers, as provided for in the Muller Plan, there are favourable conditions for the town of Trebitsch in contrast to Triesch. The establishment of such a wholesale company depends not only on the presence of expandable enterprises, but also on the local conditions, the traffic situation, existing large storage spaces, etc. All this is far more favourable for Trebitsch than for Triesch, which is also too much in the sphere of influence due to the proximity of the city of Iglau and the German wholesale company of the "Gedeka" which already exists there. Therefore, economic reasons should be more decisive than national policy considerations. However, it would be desirable for Elster to receive the concession for a wholesale company's branch in Triesch as soon as such local branches were established. In addition, Group II/2 of the Reichsprotektor may be able to support the merchant Elster in Triesch by special treatment and to make economic crisis-proof to the extent that he remains the popularly essential position in Triesh and can act as an economically sound and powerful factor. Finally, Elster could also receive security for the future of its German customer stream in Sollowitz by not agreeing to the planned establishment of a corresponding competitor in Solowitz.
