Ers.Btl.II reports the followingaccident of a member of the Btl.: The 4-T. Inf.Ers.Btl.II was commissioned by the 4-Unterscharführer Gernert to clean up work in a room of the Chem.-Faculty of the new technical high school, which had been assigned to the Abt. Ib. of the btl. by the accommodation administration. Apart from a work team, the caretakers Richter and Budasch and a former faculty laboratory assistant took part in this cleaning work. After the room, which according to the participants had contained only old useless objects and had served as a storage room of the faculty, was almost completely cleared out, the Unterscharführer Gernert found on a shelf a small bottle, which expbded when taken out; the Unter-schar Führer Görnert, was severely injured on the left hand and in the face and delivered to the v-LazarettPrague after the arrival of an emergency association. The caretaker Budasch, standing at the door, did not carry any injuries. According to the janitor and the laboratory technician, it was not known that there were still exlosive materials in this room. The investigations, which were carried out immediately after the accident and have not yet been completed, do not give any indication that this was an assassination; they were initiated after consultation with the 4- and Police Court VIII, Prag. & -Untersturmführer u. Adjutant./.
