89 3 The national community of the Czech Republic is filled with the will of genuine ethnicity and fraternity and is therefore guided by the firm determination to work, to consolidate the coming social conditions and is the permanent symbol of our work and our striving for the good of the people. In these historically unusually great and glorious days, in which we attach to the joy and glory of the German Volkes the pleasure and satisfaction of the Czech people, I consider it my duty to return in memory to the busy days of autumn l938.
