.ttirdoedA 5 To the L a n d e s h a u p t s t a d t VI-IA\ETO.PAE INSS in Brno. I raise against the decision of the state capital of Brno of 16 December 1941, number: 149.073/41-IV, which was delivered to me on 26th year l942 in open time a supplement to the appeal : the same I submitted on 6th year I942: etb MA By the contested decision, on the one hand, I am deprived of the right to operate a bookstore, on other hand, the right of the loan library. The injunction is justified by the fact that in my business I had allegedly led numerous works by unresolved and forbidden authors. What this allegation is about was without reason. I have ordered the works to be separated and deleted in the catalogue, I have prepared them in a side room for collection, but only one part was taken away by the police and the rest was left with me for the time being. If the police had still collected the first books from me, there would be no reason for this at the time of the Commission's arrival. Furthermore, I have given my assistant Erich Exler the strictest order to keep every forbidden book that comes back immediately in a box with a lock, so that it does not come into incorrect hands. In my loan book catalogue, since l939 all books were deleted immediately after the announcement of the Poli- zei or the board. In l94o, the police had taken a number of forbidden books back with the majority of them with the Bex noticing that the books did not appear in your lists. The list of confiscated books and returned forbidden books is kept by me. In lg37, an article in the Volksfreund, a Nazi bookshop on the Bäckergasse in Brno, is stanting. Until the year l939 I was very badly damaged by my opponents because of my German national attitude in my existential struggle. My business had been declared a swastika. If I have fought 20 years as a National Socialist it is not possible to fight any other way today. I would like to point out once again that I, as a national socialist, have the natural need for work, and I ask in appreciation of my merits for the Brno Germanism for the annulment of the contested decision.
