P2 Leitungsführer Positionsbau St6T 22n Minlsteraar 2 1. MRZ. 1945 Note It was with me from the Minister of Education Herr-Ministeriarrat Dr.Heckel, Prof. Kühn and Herr von Both. They made me very aware that in the area of north and north-west Bohemia, a number of Schlösera are available as a storage place for valuable salvage goods, which should be taken into account when constructing the position. This in two respects 23/3 a) during the installation of the fortification itself b) regarding protection in the case of housing. There are also a number of prehistoric sites, which are to be protected as far as possible during the construction of the position. Furthermore, the possibility was that new sites would be cut in the drawing of trenches; here the gentlemen asked to be immediately oriented so that they could go on the spot in order to be able to discuss, if necessary, what had to be done to obtain these sites. : It has been agreed that I will receive a record of our meeting, with a number of maps in which both the castles with salvage and the pre-historic punctures that have already been discovered are drawn. It was asked that the Wehrmacht, as well as the service stations of the party on these questions, should be guided and that the memo on the file and a map should also be passed on to the department of the German Minister of State for Bohemia and Moravia for the construction of positions in Prossnitz/Mähren. For the time being, I advised you not to evacuate the salvage from the castles in the area of the Vltava-Sperr zone, the defence area of Prague and the Eger-Spers zone, especially because of the associated effects on the public. I will, however, remain in close contact with the Ministerial Councillor Dr. Heckel. of the SS-Standartenführer MinisterialCouncil Dr.Gies im H a u s e. Auttoshau Si. M.mA-108/45
