1-28a 44 P. Special orders. (a) If an official stays out of service for more than one day from any occasion, he shall return the items assigned to him for processing to the Head of the department. If this is not possible in the event of sudden commuting, illness or for any other reason, the Head of Department shall ensure that the items are sent to other persons in good time for processing. b) The room keys shall be attached by the official leaving the room at the end of the service to the key board in permanent service. (c) In the performance of service outside the service building, the officers shall carry their firearms. In order to prevent accidents, the firearm shall not be loaded, but shall be carried only with a full and inserted magazine. For the safe storage of the shotarm outside of the service, each official shall take care. (d) The officials posted abroad, if their duties extend for more than two days, shall, on the evening of the second day, reimburse to their department a brief notification (eventally, by telephonic means) of the result of their previous investigations and the estimated duration of their duties; in the event of an absence of more than three days, every other day shall be reported. Before departure, the officials have to sign off from their commissioner's head. Outside the hours of duty, the departure must be reported to the permanent criminal service. e) The inspectors and commissioners represent each other in command, leave of absence, illness, etc. The representative of the inspectors is ordered by the head (representative) on a case-by-case basis. The representatives of the heads of commissioners are to be appointed by the inspectors. At the request of the commissioners, the representative must be appointed.
