Anyone who followed developments closely could see that if France or any other ally had been attacked by us earlier than we were militarily, we would have complied with the treaty with which we joined them. The failure to resolve the problems of our state in an internal political context must be sought in the year 1988 when the Treaty of Friedens and the inadequate solution of the relationship between Czechs and Germans were created. We created a new empire and a new caste of people, people with exceptional rights, whether they were already recruited from the ranks of the legionaries or the leaders of the political parties. We allowed the leadership of the state to come into the hands of people whose personal goals and benefits were the first and only profit of their political activity. On the other hand, we allowed a whole series of injustices against the weaker from the government majority party, in such a way that the impression of justice became illusory.
