H.Po1.F. III A - 41 c/45. Prague, 2nd March 1945. 1.) Note: This morning at 8.45 a.m. calls -Standartenführer and colonel of the police Heischmann and informs that he has just received from the fort commander of Brno the request to stop forces of the order police for the ski jump operation in the area of the city of Brno. Colonel Heischmann added that from his negotiations with the commander's office it had become apparent that the Czech population had failed in the ski jump and that it was therefore forced to resort to the troops. Heischman described this situation as an impossible admission of weakness. The Czech population would watch mercilessly if the force had to build up a position. Moreover, he could not make his units available either, since they were still partly in training, but partly in the field of road safety and the fight against gangs. 2.)
