English Translation
5/a - 22 - on the edge of a shadan field or on a relatively easily visible, spilled road has not yet come, although it may already be noon or evening again. It is well known that the death of this or that trapped person with growing duration of activity is approaching and approaching. From this idea, the number of men and women in charge is increasing as time goes on. In general, however, the technique cannot take up the race over time with regard to the enormous masses to be moved, without harming them; for if one starts the machine, then one already calls after the movement of almost all the masses, which it takes indiscriminately and rawly, in order to often exceed the duration of the possibility of suffering, - first comes the quality and fine work with the thoughtful use of simple machines. If one refrains from sharpness, one can say that the most elegant solution of the task is the one with the least vertical and horizontal transport work. If two different solutions are conceivable, which even require the same amount of work, the best one is the highest performance, i.e. the greatest amount of work allowed in time, which is practically often the same as the permissible approach of the maximum number of hands, but with a view to the previous limitation. The quantity and roughness work, which can then increase the effect of the machine, which is still weakened by it, even in the middle of the city, much more widely than previously known, comes later. The time of the fundamental change of tasks and thus also the right moment for the change of resources will be, for example, that of the last salvage still alive. Even if there are probably still spills which must be regarded as dead, the use of the machine or explosive remains at least one question of measure. An area of damage, by the way, must already have a considerable extent to offer places where one can work so carelessly before the dead or even still living ones have been completed.
