50a - 20 - the number of additional forces still to be requested is the result of the decision, and the possibility of pure possibilities is now established. It is a sometimes long way to turn then to the details of the recovery of mines. The Führer has faced many questions, but their reflection can only lead to a maximum of three important tasks: 1.) The salvage of buried persons under the rubble cone or rubble field, 2.) The recovery of spilled persons within the ruble cone or 3.) the salvification of buried or trapped persons above the rubry cone. These cases are dealt with in more detail in Sections I,3 - 5. Their initially purely local distinction would be maintained, firstly, for the reasons stated in the introduction and secondly, because here, too, in the practical touch of such places, differences in the procedure were repeatedly shown, but also almost constant artistic errors.- The works are often still under the sign of uncertainty, insofar as the truly local or better house-acquainted all themselves are buried, the air protection guard is likewise paralyzed, and at last even the situation sketches about the situation of the self-protection rooms were destroyed. In the following works, the leader of the I-service in the field of damage may not in general be drawn to his own participation; for the attention alone of the experience gained under I, 3 - 5 still demands an overview and distance from the events. But it must be tried that in the case of only such a large damage site, so that he is far from being deprived, after he has convinced himself that his men no longer face any particular dangers as they offer debris - in any case more often himself has to work practically as a man among his men. The objection that this was the subject of authority is idle, inasmuch as there must not be any leaders in the I-service who do not at the same time fully control the practical side. Moreover, during the salvage work, especially close to the spill, there will be no guide at all as such, for there is only room for a few hand in hand workers.
