t St.S. v G - 20/43g. Prague, 21 July 1943. V. Geheim 1.) Kanzlei bet auf spezialen Bogen: 2 2. ViI. 1943 Mr. Schmidt. 18 1 The daily report of the SD-Leitsabteilung Prague from the 1.7.d.Js. - sign number 76/43 brings on page 16 a report about the mood of the German peasantry against the band for agriculture and forestry. The report is in line with reports received from the third party by the Secretary of State, and the latest material against the Association is presented to the State Secretary by a report by the Higher Land Council in Prague dated 12 July 1972 - Sign No. 65/43 g, which literally states: "Similarly, the Association for Agriculture and Forestry. Here, too, both German and Czech district heads are complaining that the newly appointed directors of the association - the former heads of staff of the Oberlandrats - are increasingly disengaging themselves from the district authority and leaving only the unpleasant things for which the association itself cannot and does not want to assume responsibility to the district authorities. For example, the Czech chairman of the district of Procházka in Schlan, Mr. President Reiechauer and myself, have openly explained that, as an old Austrian administrative officer, he simply cannot understand the development in the agricultural sector, especially since the agricultural department has always worked well and has been a particularly valuable aid to farmers. Since, in particular in the agricultural sector, we cannot give up the cooperation of the district agronomists under any circumstances, it would be wrong, in my opinion, to place the emphasis from the district authority even more on the associations, as is the case at least by some of the lords of the region.
