-5- S Dr. Hrußka's hands were very tied during the crossing (I was with the Wehrmacht during the time). He was not allowed to plan any further tunnels except the NS axis and was therefore forced to branch the route to the north and south in 6 branches of żu. This created a kind of network, which opened up most of Prague's areas, but very much suffered from detours with the exaggerated branching (which was demanded by Pres. Nie- meyer but) to the bishorigen Sehnellbahn - ( and Straßenbahn!) experiences in complete contrast. As a result of the unenforced heavy tunnel load on the previous signal systems, I worked out a very simplified signal system, which would have allowed a much cheaper increase in the intermediate signals, which meant that the train interval would have been too low. At the same time, I worked out the basis for a model of this signaling system, which was built entirely and clearly showing the operation.A signaling apparatus was also designed for the punctual arrival of the trains at the points of association. For the electric part of the car, the most important foundations were also created. For example, the useful braking is also applied, which allows a significant part of previously applied electricity to recover on the long colliding lines. The other details of the ST-Bahn, such as surface stations, underground and branching stations, have been worked out. Some models are in the process of doing so. I then particularly emphatically moved with the traffic network that complements the ST Bahn and worked out the presumably load plans for both. A review plan of the old town and the neighbouring areas for the transport network was also developed in cooperation with Dr,Ing, Hruška. However, this work had to suffer greatly from the fact that we were mutilated by arbitrary cancellations.
