Moreover, the attitude of the peasants is quite bad. There is also a general panic mood due to the approaching eastern front. In general, however, our workers have little contact with the people, and individual incidents have to be regulated; with the rest of the workers, our farmers almost never come into contact, as we usually sit alone in the local shelters. Remarkable is a double case in Prellenkirchen, where a Slovak approached our people and called them quite openly to the sabotage. He was terribly beaten up and handed over to the local commander afterwards. In general it can be said that the operation is carried out particularly because of the difficult housing problems with the greatest difficulty, but that it can - as we can already see - nevertheless become a success.
