St.M. III A - 24 6/44 g. Rs. Prague, 5 December 1944. Secret Reihsfälle 1.) KR-PS: -5. XII. 1944 (After entrance to treat as a secret Reichssfache!) To Herr Reichaleiter Martin Bormann, Berlin W8, Voßstrasse 4. Reichsführer ! This morning, I received the order to take care that Czechs should be made available from the Protectorate for a ski jump in the Gau Niederdonau on the route Pressburg-Neusiedler-See 10.o00 from 10.12.d.Js. From my responsibility, I would point out once again that the action - apart from the difficulties in the field of labour - will trigger a very strong atmospheric and sgitatory reaction which will be extremely difficult to absorb, both in the police and in propaganda. In any case, a major concern of the Tachechian population is inevitable. This impression, after an interview with the Minister of Agriculture Hruby, has strengthened my impression. In between, I initiated the recruitment of the Czechs - and that is that the labour force is taken from the years 1921-1923 of agriculture. This is the only way out of this situation, because the high-tensioned arms industry in the Protectorate must not be burdened at all, and because, secondly, agriculture in the United Kingdom is the most important sector in the world.
