VE - 2 - From Gomel it is reported that the road between Gomel and Chernigov at night is still endangered by guerrillas. In the area of Bryansk the Par- tisans blew up a bridge and murdered several mayors appointed by the occupation authorities. At Mogilev, a civilian scout was able to scout out a guerrilla department, which was destroyed by surprising access. The leader of the group and 22 guerrillas were shot. In Tossno, the security police and SD commando were intercepted by an army corps 5 and sent radio messages signed with "Walya" to a Leningrad headquarters. The extensive investigations initiated immediately led to a full success, with some evidence of the person being identified from previous findings. A "partisan group" composed of members of the Security Police Operations Command and the SD was commissioned to make the necessary findings in the relevant area with the aim of lifting the radio station and the entire news network. Under the supervision of civil scientists, a house could be found in the village of Roteletten near Shary as the probable location of the radio station.
