The establishment of the Böhm.-Mähr. liaison office ier DAF as the only mediator between the Czech workers employed in the Reich and their home country has often caused great indignation among Czechs in the OLB Pilsen. It was explained that this liaison office sought to prevent the hitherto active traffic of Czech workers with the Protectorate as far as possible and that the workers had completely surrendered to the interests of the Reich. This view was not only represented by Czech national workers, but also by workers who had previously been employed by Marxists. The displeasure of taking up employment in the Reich had therefore increased considerably. In addition, there were widespread rumours, which led to the recruitment of the Czech vintages l9l4/l8 and their dispatch into the Reich, which again led to great unrest in all strata of Czech population.Czech intellectuals are spreading that these mass convocations of Czechs are evidence of the poor situation of the Reich as this year's struggles in the East and in Africa had demanded great sacrifices to people who had to be replaced by new convocation of younger generations and, in particular, by the involvement of armament workers. The Czechs would now take their place. In the next few years, Germany could also rely on such tools.
