STATE SECRETARY FOR THE RUSSIAN PROTECTOR IN THINGS AND IN MORAVA, PRAGUE, inv. 1953, sig. 109-6/45
English Translation
This means that, in addition to the sharp increase in the cost of labour, raw materials also increase in prices, which in turn needs to be offset by increased subsidies for exports. To date, the Protectorate had a system of export promotion, which was financially fed by an allowance paid by emigrants for the receipt of a certain amount of foreign currency. The payment of the grants was made according to a method which was a modest abolition of the German additional export procedure and which had only been applied for less than one year. The grant was granted on the basis of an examination of the cost calculation in relation to the export prices which can be obtained; a price check as in the old Reich was not so far connected with it. The procedure was carried out by the acquisition of one in Z.A. However, as I have said, to this day it is a simple instrument of export promotion which is of little importance. Its small importance stems from the fact that, to date, only some 600 million crowns have been allocated, of which about 6 million kroner have to be effectively paid out after the cancellation of the businesses.
