2pNgTW Note: sib stirib fe Prague, 28 October 1944. B8s16 and Musikhochschulen. It follows from this that after the negotiations of the ministerial council of Miederer with the party chancellery in Prague, not one of the universities at which the war-ridden students are given the opportunity to continue their studies on the basis of music education. Even the non-war students of music education could not continue their studies in Prague from the 5th semester onwards. Thus, the University Institute of Music was shut down. I drew the attention of Minister Hermann to the fact that this communication completely contradicts his communication of 18 October 1984, and also disagrees with what he yesterday communicated by telephonic means, namely that, except for the war-stricken musicians, all those who intend to become free artists would probably be admitted to study in Prague. He replied that he felt that music education could continue in Prague, but that he had not been well informed about the details, since he, however, had not held negotiations with Miederer's ministerial councillor. In the past, he had only talked about the possibility of continuing to study music education in Prague.I firmly denied this and pointed out that he, as Head of Office V, had to be informed about these things before he officially gave them to the public. Ministerial Council (2 Hermann apologised that the negotiations had overturned /pildee. The number of students in Prague, who are eligible for further studies on 20.7., is currently 3. It could be expected that about 3 to 4 people would still be injured, so that the total number of musicians would be about 6 to 7.
