39 Nachiden Results of the meeting of 6 September 1944 2, however, the study of economics and the architec- ture study is to be shut down. In these cases HSON could not incriminate those among the first mentioned these subjects. I consider the planned closure of the IUC Architecture Department and the closure of economic studies to be of concern, since the wounded and numerous hospital inmates in Prague lose the possibility of starting or continuing their studies in these areas. Students from the Old Reich, who have already studied these subjects in Prague, cannot return to the local university, so that a weakening of German studentship inevitably occurs in this area. The cancellation of the economic studies at the German Technical University is also not to be represented, because this area of study at the Deutsche Karls University is not shut down and both universities complement each other in this field of study. I would ask you to consider whether a corresponding step should not be taken by the Minister of Education, the Party Chancellery and the Fene-ral deputies for the administration of the Reich for this reason. III. At the German Technical University in Brno, this applies under Il., with the limitation that there is no degree in economics. For this purpose, the study of surveying (Faculty of Il, Building) Peze7 from the 5th semester can be started. IV. Orders concerning the study at art and music colleges have not yet been issued. B. The deans have been instructed to inform the students of the regulations applicable to the individual faculty. C. By decree of the General Plenipotentiary for Employment of 4 September 1944, detailed instructions were issued on the registration and use of students at higher education institutions.
