-10- 85 of onion on cards, but these assignments are far too small. The district authority Königgrätz expects for the next supply period an absolute lack of vegetables. Salt. In the large distributors there is a lack of salt, which however was not expressed in the shops / except in the district Klattau/. The host companies complain about lack of beer, liqueurs, wine and lemonades. Beer is mostly only given in the evenings in limited quantities and in some places only 3 - 3 days. Coal. The coal supply is insufficient. The increase is very poor and is not sufficient to fill the gap created in the past months. The coal warehouses are empty and people's fronts are formed by the individual coal dealers as soon as they receive a wagon. In some places, e.g. in Pardubitz, the police had to intervene several times so that the public calm and order were not disturbed. The situation in the coal supply can be described as serious, even almost critical. Due to the lack of coal, according to the order of the Oberlandrat in Klattau, the hours of office at the district authority on 29 January 1943 were limited. Also at the District authority in Pilsen there was a limitation of the hours. In Tabor the bakers / besides 6 larger enterprises/ had to restrict their activity so that they will bake only 3 days/Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday/ weekly. In the district of Turnau, bakers were also forced to limit the number of working days. Operation of all gas plants was restricted. The stagnation of the supply of coal to industry is dealt with in the further section. ./.
