18 - 72 The printing houses complain about paper shortages. Also the supplies of letter paper in the shops have already been needed and you get in some cities / e.g.Kladno / in paper shops only 2 letter papers. The same lack also prevails of office articles. With regard to the long-lasting winter, the population, mainly the poorer strata, has exhausted their coal reserves completely. The coal supply was weak and insufficient with regard to prevailing weather conditions. In some pecirks / e.g. in Pardubitz / the population was helped out with coal dust, whose supplies are already exhausted. An example of the irregularity of the coal allocations supplied is the shortcoming of the post-or district, where at the end of the month approximately 16,000 tons of black coal, 3,645 lignite and 727 tons of coke will fall.
