On the basis of the fact that some of these posts are occupied only "commissory", no difference of assessment may be derived from the ordinary posts, because in these cases it was not applicable only for political reasons, to occupy the posts externally finally with Reich officials. In the Protectorate, the authorities in question are responsible for carrying out tasks which are carried out by the Supreme Reich authorities in the rest of the Reich. Accordingly, they are of considerable size. For example, the Supreme Prize Authority has 283 staff (90 of which are in higher service), the Supreme Audit Office has 163 staff (48 of whom are in high service) and the Land Office, including the post-organised services 19i5 staff in regulated service (including 304 in higher duty) and 1961 staff. For these German heads of authority, I would ask you, in accordance with the requirements of your office B 7 a, to be called "Presidents in business of the German Steata Minister". For the head of the Statistisches Gentralamt - an authority with 800 employees - it seems to me that the position of acting government director is appropriate. 2. In the autonomous central authorities, the German influence and control in two forms, which, however, are generally equally assessed, becomes defence-genoumen - and especially by staff members who are functionally installed and responsible there, who, when exercising their activity, have sutonome functional designations (e.g. Presidential chief, section head) and, on the other hand, through so-called de- serments which control the work of the sects which they supervise, without being responsible for political reasons.
