English Translation

8th Ministerial Councillor Dr. Gies. In the sector of autonone protectorate police posts were provided: a) for seconded police administrators (police presidents) b) for subordinated ununiformed police officers. It should be expected that the transfer of these officials to our administration in Berlin would be made of the greatest difficulties; since for the Minister of State the authority over these officials is also ensured by his capacity as senior police officers, it seems expedient to exclude these police officers from taking over on our budget. If this opinion is not accepted, I would ask Yom to delete the word police in the draft to the Minister of the Penances of the Reich.
