English Translation

I would just like to highlight here the expenditure on damage to war and the fortifications which the Empire has built on the border of Slovakia, and on the other hand, the earth's state resources of the Protectorate - which could be seen at the beginning of the year - have increased. On the basis of the previously provided matricular contribution of 1 MIA RM, a cover of at least 55 % of the national budget of the Protectorate in 1944 would be provided by ordinary measures. Generally speaking, the tax burden in the Protectorate, despite the excesses of the Reich's tax law and the tax revenues of the Empire, is calculated on the head of the population. This is due to the more effective tax collection in the Reich. In the case of a comparison of the state debt, a cusp charge of RM 3 200 in the Reich is opposed to such a charge of rana 700 RM in the Protectorate. I do not want to draw from this comparison any tidal rims, because in such comparisons of two areas other important factors are also to be taken into account. I do not think, however, that the protectorate can and must be used both in the field of tax collection and through further straining of government loans. I intend to set the matricular contribution for the year at 1, 25 Mia RM and to assume a matriculative contribution of l,5 Mia Rm for i945 zueo et h, to agree to it and to arrange for the same with the OXX tectorate government.
