-30 -§ in Mogador throughout the year only between 15 and 25o0; inside the Extrone grow fast, autumn, winter and early spring are also very pleasant in Marrakech, while the summer, often in the hours of the day, brings high degrees of heat. Morocco has a great advantage in terms of climate in front of many other subtropical areas, and this is the proximity of a high mountain with all its climatic possibilities. Although the High Atlas does not rise, as older maps show, up to 4700 m, it still has a few peaks in addition to the Tubkal (4365 m), which reach 4oo m altogether or almost. The High Atlas does not possess glacial, eternal snow and mountain lakes, but it is a very effective rain catcher and ensures that the snow melts, which is finished about in June, than until the harvest time, wide areas with abundant flowing water. The magnificent high valleys of the Atlas, although the former forest population (especially cedars) has suffered badly, offer many possibilities for climatic health resorts and sun--healing places. But also the healthy one likes to retreat from the summer hot cities of the inland country into airy resorts, which lie in the height of 1000 to 1500 m, but are still far from numerous enough. In order to be able to fully recognize the importance of Morocco, the natural resources of this country must also be mentioned. Of dominant importance are the rich phosphate deposits, which l9l9 were discovered and allegedly should be sufficient for 200 years. In addition, the advance of lead, cobalt and manganese ores is to be mentioned. Near the Algerian border a small coal camp is discovered. Iron ores, on the other hand, are very abundant, but are little exploited by the French, who possess enough productive deposits in their own country. Only in 1937 a quantity of 67 000 tonnes was seen in the export list for the first time. Of course, all the described advantages of Morocco are not ready. However, the best geopolitical, culinary and agricultural conditions are in place. If the available possibilities are properly exploited and evaluated, the importance and the richness of Morocco could be greatly increased.
