Anlg. i -1- The state police station Linz with order from 17.8.1940 confiscated the entire object of the emigrated prince Dr, Adolf zu Schwarzenberg, born 18.8.1890 in Frauenberg b./Budweis, on the basis of the proven imperial hostility. On the same day, the state police headquarters in Prague had the property of the prince and his wife Hilda zu Schwarzenberg in the Protectorate with the aim of confiscation in favour of the German Reich on the basis of § 2 of the decree on the confiscating of assets in the protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia dated 4 October 1939 (RGBl.I p. 1998) and, in agreement with the Linz State Police Office, entrusted the property manager Fritz H e s e in Krummau with the trust management of the property. Of all Schwarzenberg's assets, only l/3 is located in the Protectorate, while the majority are located in Gau Oberdonau and only small parts scattered in the Sudetengau, Bavaria and the Gauen.Salzburg and Styria as well as the Schwarzenberg-Sche Palais in Vienna.
