P000Y - 4 - advice centres for implementation. According to the local instructions, each consultant has divided the members of his labour sector in such a way that, with regard to the communication and other local traditions, he has gathered the farmers from 3-5 municipalities into a suitable centre for them. The basis for this was the agricultural advisory groups in the agricultural education schools. In consultation with the local councillors of the municipalities concerned and in agreement with the counsellor, the advisory group called together the farmers in the chosen centre (municipalities). The consultant then, either individually or in case of need, together with other experts (consultants) or experienced farmers from the place at the assembly, presented the principles in the general direction, as well as the circumstances which are of local importance for the implementation of the production plan. After the presentation, consultation with the farmers was always conducted, with individual advice given to the questioners. Furthermore, to promote the production slaughter and to implement the agricultural production plan, the sound local press was exploited. A total of more than 2,0oo local meetings on the production battle were organised. The participation in all these meetings was considerable with great interest of the listeners. The daily and specialist press has provided and continues to provide systematic information and advice on how to regulate the crop, in order to achieve not only the necessary seed within the bounds of the obligation imposed by the individual declarations of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, but also a further increase in agricultural production in all the desired directions. The main authors of the periodicals were personally familiarized with the nature of the agricultural production plan on 26 February at the Ministry of Agriculture.
