2 - Coke batteries entering the Ostrava region will remove further quantities of high-quality coal, which is mainly used for the Bohemian-Moravian Railways, and the coal industry would have to free these missing figures, as they will not replace them from the Reich, from other sectors of the economy. The Östrau district will provide approximately 20l.000.- t/month preliminars in March, provided that traffic is able to run these quantities. 3./ Kladno district: Through the use of Jewish workers an increase in production was achieved this month. This area will supply around 67.ōðð.--t7month preliminare l06.666.-t/ in the month-March. However, due to various negotiations, it was possible to release for the industrial sector another 5.O0o.- t for the month of March, so that the various plants could receive almost Loo% of their requested Kladnoer fuel quantity. 4./ Upper Silesia: The deliveries of this district were equal to 60.00o.- t, Upper Silesia will only be able to deliver 15.00o.t in the month of March. WAGE-SELLING 1./ Brüxer district: from 1st to 18th February were sent to the protectorate I4.580 weighings, but only il.388 wagons were placed out of the protectorates during the same period, so that a flaw of 3,192 wagons was created here. 2./ Ostrava district_/including Montanbahn/: In the period from 1st to 24th February there is a shortcoming of 7.03l wagons, which corresponds to a loss of 123.043.-t. Because of the wagon configuration, the coal industry station is continuously connected with the group traffic at the Reichsprotector in Bohemia and Moravia. The figures compiled by the Transport Group show that in this year the wagon configuration has been even better than in the previous one. Nevertheless, the coal industry has to be established that the coals produced in the coalfields cannot be driven off. The coal industry has to repeatedly point out that everything must be done from the transport side, be it in terms of locomotives and wagons, to improve transport, in order to get rid of the coal generated in the Ostrava coalfield in good time. The fuel stock of the railways was on 23 February I942 ll.l days. - 3 -
