13 On 2.8.d.Js., the department of Head of Service Dr. Hupfauer from Wuppertal called and stated the following: Dr. Hopfauer had received a special order for the West. Thus, the telegram sent to him suggested that the meeting with the Secretary of State could not be possible in half way. He was now in Berlin next Monday and asked whether Secretary of State Frank would be in Berlin at this time. He asked to be informed under Velbert 3808. On August 3rd, the department was informed by Head of Service Dr. Hupfauer that Mr. State Secretary would not come to Berlin on Monday, August 9.8.
