In order to keep the economic groups running on the nature of this quota, an information consultation was convened on 27 February 1994 in which Dr. N o a k , specialist officer of the Reichsprotektor, R o - s e n b e r g from the Reichstelle für Lederwirtschaft and G r e r b e g of thereichsgruppe Industrie cine instructive discussion of the content of the announcement and a report on the experiences already acquired in the Reich in this respect. The Monitoring Centre at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Commerce has decided to transfer the management of the timber quota to the Central Association of Industry for Bohemia and Moravia, and its economic groups. To this end, we have participated in several consultations at the Monitoring Centre. In the same way, this case was negotiated with Mr von Hel l d o r f of the Central Centre for Wood and Forestry, and the way in which the economic groups have to administer this quota, in particular in administrative terms, has already been agreed more or less. The question of the total amount of this quota is still open and thus also the decision as to how much of the industry is to be allocated. According to the information available so far, the total consumption is 4oo ooo m3, of which, on the provisional basis, according to the first estimate of the Central Association of Industries l5ooo , the Central Confederation of Crafts is to be allocated a smaller 3 part, about 5 - looo.m3 and the rest, i.e. 2 24o ooom3 to be used to meet industrial needs. If it is not possible to increase the global industrial quota, this will mean an approximately 2 % coverage of industrial timber, as we have been informed during the negotiations held in the previous year.
