12.) Human society is subordinated. And in these points, these two ideal schools, the democracy and totalism or authoritarianism, are once again irreconcilable. We simply have to choose between this or that and enter our whole life and all our political and moral systems in practice. In this fundamental sociological dispute, I have always endeavoured to arrive at an acceptable social synthesis. Human culture and civilization was created by the continuous mutual relations and interdependence of these basic social elements - the individuum and the collective. Strictly knowingly spoken, it is not possible to say that this or that of these two elements is primary; this is the same dispute known from the medieval scholastic phi-losophie: whether the egg was earlier or the hen. The human society lasts as a collective body at the same time and at the very same time as the human entity. But from the metaphysisoh and moral point of view, I do not doubt in the least that this dispute cannot be solved differently than by the clear recognition that the individual is the primary force, i.e. that man is metaphysical and morally the highest value in human society as a human individual, for this reason I am an individualist and therefore I am in favour of democracy as the system that bases its foundations on the individualistic
