In my office, Ministerial Conductor Lindens from the Reich Ministry of the Interior, as the Reich's representative for the medical and nursing institutions, came forward to discuss the question of the reception of mentally ill people from air-threatening regions of the Reich, in particular the Reich Capital, in institutions of the Protectorate, and to convince themselves by sight whether the density of evidence of the institutions in the Protectorates permits such a shift. To this end, I should like to say that, in order to free the most urgently needed hospital room, I have already had medical and nursing institutions in the Protectorate vacated and that the occupation in the non-ruffled institutions is at present so strong that an increase for sanitary and security police reasons cannot be held responsible. In addition, the protectorate is in no way suitable for the reception of German mentally ill people due to the local situation, because the few institutions still available are located in the purely Czech settlement area.
