tl PAUL CONRAD HANNOVER, 6 August 1941. District leader 15. IX. 1941 Éing.: Büco des Staatsfekretärs erl. am Herrn bei Reichsprotektor in Böhmen und makren. Oberregierungsrat Dr. Giess Eing. 18. AUG. 1941 Personal speaker of Tgb. Nt.: Herrn Staatsministers Prag Czernin-Palais 8/nf Lieber Kamered Giess! Unfortunately, I have not been able to give you any longer remarks about my visit to the Protectorate when I passed on to Prague. I would therefore like to make this up in writing today. I have visited almost all of the owners of the Protectorates themselves, i.e. through my Obergauführerin and the Lower Saxony press. I have to say that the lagers are still running impeccably and that the service under the direction of my comrade Geissler has continued to do a pleasant job. If this work was still limited to administrative work today, this was the case because the construction work was completed. It is only regrettable that a unity of the entire distribution of children's land is often disturbed by the various organizations. I believe, however, that the regional leader Geissler is able to assert himself against the separation desires of any organizations. One concern is me and probably also the regional director Geisslinger the cash administration. As the district money manager told me, they can't get through with the revision, with the bookings and with the inventory. If this is not fixed, this can of course have a catastrophic effect. Of course, it is primarily because there are too few or unsuitable forces for this, which process these things. - 2 St.S.1L-2/41
