hV Prague, 16 December 1943. - President Dr. Hácha and the Czech ministers of the autonomous government of the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia have made the following joint declaration on the conclusion of Benesch's treaty in Moscow: On behalf of the whole Czech people, as its legal and competent government, we solemnly protest against the attempt of irresponsible emigrants to surrender our homeland to Bolshevik imperialism. The Czech people and their government, bearing in mind their European commitment, will never recognize a pact with Bolshevism, but will always fight with all their strength against the betrayal of Bolsclvism by the Bohemian countries. We stand faithful to the Empire, whose army today only guarantees the salvation of the European peoples and their culture.
