The General Inspector of the Prague Administration, 16 August 1943 Mr. State Secretary 4-Upper Group Leader Frank Subject: Registration of German people; here: assessments by the party. In April 1943, the president of the state in Bohemia - RAV - reported that only the district governor - RA V - in Rakonitz still had l62 unfinished requests for the determination of the German ethnicity, which were not yet submitted to the department of the regional president for decision. The submission had not yet been made, as in these cases the opinions of the party's competent sovereign, the reports of the secret state police, the SD and the RuS department in Prague were still outstanding. The most significant delay was the fact that the opinion requested by the NsDAP circuit management was left unprocessed for months and that the district manager had expressly postponed the position of deadlines. The Prague District Council had contacted the district management, which explained to him that it was not able to deal more quickly due to a lack of personnel. I have sent copies of the reports to the party liaison office under lo. May l943 without having received an answer so far. Aúf my new request the president of the state - RAV - in Bohemia reports to me that of the l62 state affiliation processes only 56 would have been completed, while in the remaining 97 cases still the assessments of the district administration would be outstanding. If only in the small district of Rakonitz with only a few German inhabitants find such residues Ct. S.1vE-347
