P r a g, the 16.1.1942 report In a letter sent by the German Criminal Police, the German national U r b a n, government commissioner for the municipality V o i t 1 e s, Bez.Kralowitz, stated that in his municipality the existing grain stocks were not completely registered by the protectorate farmers, in particular the large landowner Dr.Ing. B r č e k about 200 bicentimetres of barley, which date back to l940,have been declared in its storage rooms. Since the checks carried out in December in the year before had established that there were still significant unannounced grain stocks in many farmers, it had to be assumed that larger quantities of cereals were also hidden in Voitles. An in-depth review of the farms belonging to the municipality of Voitles was carried out with the help of an employee of the Grain Association in Prague and the District Office for Soil Reform in Pilsen, and with the participation of 25 control bodies of the Ministry of Agriculture, Pilsen and the district authority in Pilson, as well as of 25 protectorate officers of the gendarmerie. The municipality of Voitles consists of 1 8 farmers, some of whom are small, 7 are medium and 1 are large. Land ownership varies between 1 and 220 hectares. The soil can be described as average. With the implementation of the control of the farms started on 9.1.42 at 9 o'clock.
