Also, the German authorities had not done anything to strengthen the authority of the Czech government and would have always appeared to the Czech people with the greatest hardness and sharpness. On the German side, one could give something to the Czech people in some respects and fulfil many of his national wishes relatively easily. Jch responded very sharply to this, that the Czech side always demanded a performance from the German sides, without even being really decent to the rich, loyal and active in the sense of the empire. On 16 March 1939, the Pührer had achieved such an advance in his goodness and state-sizedness through the autonomy given to the countries of Bohemia and Moravia that, first of all, for a long time, this German advance had to be paid off from the Czech side before one could approach the Reich with demands.
