h Counsellor of the Chamber Dr. Karl A r n d t Prague, 17 September 1942 To the Office of the State Secretariat*s Ministerial Council Dr. G i e s. belm Reich p.o'ek.er in Béhmen and Mahten. Eing. 18 SEP. 1942 - Dear Mr. Ministerial Council ! Following today's discussion, I hand over to you the eloquent message about my y-civilabzeichen with the request for friendly support. To the direction of the group leader I notice: I belong to the 7 since the summer of 1933 and have the 2/R 7, at the end of 1939 I was transferred to the 108th standarte, where I first serve in the 6th, for about a year in the 1st tower. Due to a longer stay abroad, I had to formally leave the protective squadron from the summer of 1937 to the end of 1938 and give the -- certificate as well as the Yey-Zivil badge awarded in the year tni934 to the storm 2/R 7. When I was granted the leave of absence, I was assured to resume under the same number and rank. In my feedback, I also received the -certificate under the old number, but the civilian badge was lost in the service. My efforts at the old storm and after the overlay here at the lo8. - Standarte for eye-handling of a new badge were so far unsuccessful. There has always been reference to a provision that during the war civil badges cannot be awarded. However, in my pall it is not a reassignment. Also, the loss report, which I have now been posted, does not seem to me to be the right way, since I did not lose the badge, but rather it was lost in the service business of the lost. About this fact I already have an official certificate of the old storm. St. S.1g.-147/42
