0C The German Minister of State 7 October 1944. (p.d.) 8t.M. 532501/44.J PTpesyep WV 1.) To Mr. 11. X. 1944 Gauleiter Dr. Jury, head of the party liaison office in Bohemia and Moravia, Prague IV, Burg. Dear jury ! Until spring 1940 in Brno the current ministerial councillor Westerkamp worked as Oberlandrat. Westerkamp, who has meanwhile been used by various authorities, let his family live in Brno, but now wants to have them moved to Mecklen-burg in view of the development in South-Oaten. As a result, I have deprived the Westerkamp family of the pass-through certificates, since I think it politically unacceptable that wealthy German families, who have the corresponding relations with the rest of the Reich, should start their migration. Bohemia and Moravia is and remains the Reichsland. As a result, I cannot make any difference between the attitude of the German immigrants and the German Germans. I attach a photocopy to the correspondence with Westerkamp. I do not intend to reply to Westerkamp's last letter and would be grateful if, if you were to be contacted by Westercamp, you would take the same position as me.
