The last Prague riots once again drew the attention of the Sudeten Germans to the capital of the republic, to that city, which according to the president also belongs to the Germans of the Republic. The Sudeten Germans know, however, that the Prague city fathers are not prepared to share the opinion of the president. Sudeteten Germans probably protested against the Prague resolutions, but a report on the capital made them so far hardly. That has its good reason. Is nevertheless their relationship with Prague still unexplained for them. The relationship "Prague and Homeland" (to say not "Province") needs to be clarified soon, however, because it depends on clear attitudes to questions that have been dealt with so far but cannot be avoided any longer. In this context, the question of the H o c h s c h u l v e r le g u ng, which has been put publicly in the "way" but has not been answered. There are still a lot of similar questions that all go back to the unexplained relationship "Prague and Homeland" and can only be answered by clarifying this relationship. It is therefore appropriate to examine this relationship more closely . Prague is the centre of attention . It is the focal point of transport, the intelligence service, the economy of politics and the focus of connections with foreign countries and especially those with Germany and Austria. Prague is located outside the closed Sudeten German settlement area, in the middle of the closed Czech language area. The Prague Germanism lives spatially separate from the Sudeten German settlement area and consists almost entirely of an upper class of intellectuals who come from all Sudete German landscapes. The connection of the Prague Germandom is a very loose . About the numerical strength of the Prage Germandom can not be given immediately precise information. The census will bring possible surprises; for the Sudeten German provinces are constantly growing. The Sudete German settlement area is m i t e l p u n k t l o s. The individual landscapes have probably their centre, but none of these has been able to become the center of the entire Sudet German language so far. Apart from the traffic technical and other difficulties, the development of a sudeten German centre within the Sudeten-German area is prevented not least by the traditional rivalry of the cities in question. The disintegration of the South German is also due, among other things, to their geographically unfavourable location and to the lack of centre due to it. The danger of the mental narrowing caused by the spatial situation is increasing from east to west. Sudeten German provinces directly linked to the East German front are the least likely to be narrowed, which has such a disastrous effect on the political sphere.
