Meeting document for Obergruppenführer for consultation with SA-Sturmbannfänger Dr.Franz Klinger Dr.Franz K 1 i n g e r was born on 15.6.l908 in Graz. He is blinded in both eyes, in one eye as a result of a fight during his student time, the second eye he has lost in the fight time. Nevertheless, he can still practice his medical profession to a certain extent. Dr. Strauß hired him on 1 January 1944 in the reserve hospital DAF-Sanatorium Kladrub. He held the position of doctor for post-treatment, for which he is particularly suitable due to his strong sense of touch, according to experts. After a short stay in Kladrub, Dr. Klinger clearly recognized the maladministration of the Ostrich system in both technical and managerial terms. A voluntary statement signed by him on 6 April 44 on the technical shortcomings of the ostrich is attached. In the course of the resettlement measures initiated by the Wehrmacht after the removal of the ostrich in Kladrub, Dr. Klinger . was also dismissed by the new chief physician Dr.Moser. As became known, Klinger wants to challenge this dismissal, because he sees in it an unauthorized assault of the Wermacht into the area of the DaF. As is well known, the general physician Muntsch's tendency to postpone the abuses caused by ostrich in Kladrub to the DAF's account and with this "moral justification" completely eliminate the influence of DAF in Klatrub. Dr.Moser himself only noticed the positive side during his previous work in Klasrub. He strives for the emergence of a comradely relationship with the relatives, works a lot, rejects representations and hunting pleasures with regard to his medical and managerial use in Kladrub. Characteristic for his healthy initiative it is e.g. that he organized a Sunday celebration of the Lazarette on 2l.6.44 on his own initiative.
