The Head of the Special Department of Cultural Policy Prague, 28 June 1943. W/11 Bücb des Staasich at the Reichsp o ph in Bohemia and Ma. Eing.: 28.JUNI 1943 To 44-Obersturmbannführer Dr. G i e s. I return the note of the ORR. Dr. Danzmann from l8.6.43 after the consultation with the Obersturmführers. The Obergruppenführer has pointed out that he does not want to know about the matter from his personal side, but that the claim made by the student Goldbeck about the behaviour of a police officer has to be sounded a little bit and explained in more detail. I asked Miss Goldbeck again in person today and asked her about it. She described the process in such a way that before the entrance of the Czerninpalais the police officer in question had leaned on a motor vehicle and had initially shouted to her: "Miss, you can't enter it now!", from this the exchange of words described in the enclosed note had developed, in which the police official then became quite rough. What the roughness has existed, Frl. Goldbeck could not specify more closely, but she adheres to her general assertion. A further investigation of the case does not seem promising to me. Since Frl Goldbeck has not been noticed otherwise (it is located in the b. 43 temporary vacation work in the special division of cultural policy), I strongly suggest that the matter with the teaching given by me be considered finished. n 506 pp.πD-99 6/43
