The law of the Erbhof (Reichs- erbhofgesetz, Erbhöhrechtverordnung, und Erbhofenverordinung,und Erbgerichtverorden) in the rest of the Reichsgebiet could in itself be introduced for the German farmers in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia. This would require a decree by the Reich Minister of Justice and the Reich Ministry of Food and Agriculture, in agreement with the Reich Protector. Since the general provisions of civil law in the Protectorate correspond to those in the Sudetenland state of the Reichsgau, the vote to be issued would largely coincide with the vote on the introduction of the right of inheritance in the Sudetenland State of 27 February 1940 (RGBl.I S 426). 2. The introduction of the right of inheritance in the Protectorate has been repeatedly examined here at the suggestion of the Berlin Central Offices. Both in 1939 and in the year 194l, it was rejected from political reasons. The reasons given here are still of decisive importance - from a few of them - to this day.
