THE GERMAN STATE MINISTRY FOR CHECH AND MORAV, PRAGUE (1906) 1939 - 1945 (1965), inv. 1120, sig. 110-11/58
English Translation
A request to the Secretary of State K.H.Frank for a fundamental clarification and decision in favour of the Branowitzer German farmers has been rejected by Section VI, allegedly on the Oberforstmeister Weber. Whether the State Secretary has got an insight into the matter is strongly doubted by the farmers. It had been submitted by the last hunting tenant, the farmer Wilhelm Dworaczek, under the 13th July of the year. Dworaezek is an honorable German farmer, against whose person there are no concerns in any way. He is the son of the well-known folk fighter Theodor Dworacezek. He is the cell leader of the NSDAP and enjoys the sympathy of the German population, which also brings him the greatest trust. The only thing that speaks something against him is that his wife only lacks the German language. Two sons and two nephews are of him in the military and at the front. t Cd t e cd In the years of Czech rule he was exposed to his German mind because of many tribulations by the Czechs, was threatened with shooting, had to flee, was imprisoned and was released only in January 1939 during the present circuit leader of the NSDAP, Mr. Ing.K.Folta, and the intervention of the Reich government. Pür him would be a just restitution of his former hunting rights to the Czechs. In the case of a forcible settlement of the matter, it is certainly to be expected that the local farmer leader Raab and the cell leader Dworaczek lay down their voluntary party offices, which would also draw further circles and, especially now that Germanism in this area is receiving new influx from the Dobruja by settlers, would be very worrying and regrettable. That further political difficulties could also arise from this is also not excluded. Uhlmann Bz.Ltn.d.Gend. and commander. F.d,R.D.A.: Lohey
