In order to close the conflict between the Reichs-protector group Forst on the one hand and the German farmers in the village of Branowitz on the other hand, which has been pending for months, I have today ordered the local farmer leader and chief hunter Raab from Branoitz and the Oberforstmeister Weber from Göding to me and let me speak from both sides about the matter. I have noted that Weber Stux has taken the position that, in order to complete the representational hunting area of the Reichsprotektor, the inclusion of the hunting area Brano-witz in the nature and wildlife reserve Groß-Seelowitz is necessary, and that Weber shows himself completely inaccessible to the objections and arguments of the German farmers. The chief of the hunt, Raab, who, as a local farmer, represented the opinion of all the farmers who lived there, has to say that there is a deep bitterness about the treatment of the farmers by the Relksprotector. They believe that they must now be lost only because of their unremarkable reasons for representation of their "old peasant land". They cannot understand this at all as old folk fighters, who knew how to defend their rights in the fight against the Czechs for decades, and revolt with their hard peasant skulls.
