V 2 c 3267/43 of 5.8.1943 Subject: BkVa Brno; dismissal of the abbot Josef Ricker From the Gauleitung Sudetenland of the NSDAP I received the notification that the following report has been submitted by this place under the l3.Jan.l942 to the Central Social Insurance Institute: "On the basis of the reports now available to me, I inform you that I do not consider the above mentioned for a service use in the Protectorate to be suitable considering the fact that he is married to a Czech woman. His political change, which he shows in Brno, cannot be regarded as honest and convincing with regard to the very unfavorable reports about his behaviour during the fighting period.I consider Ricker absolutely unsuitable for a head office because of his changeable political attitude. The dismissal of Ricker inBrünn, according to the Sudetenland administration, only confirms that he is not suitable for a senior position at the Central Social Insurance Institute of the Protectorate. As far as the behaviour in Brno is concerned, I shall return to the matter.
