The drinking milk requirements of the Prague dairies amount to 256,000 1 but the yield only 240,000 1. The shortfall of 16,000 l is to be covered as follows: reduction of the allocation to factory kitchens by 50 % - 2,000 1, cessation of delivery to restaurants and canteens .....5,000 1, reduction of 7 weekly allocations of unframed fresh milk to normal consumers to 6 allocations 9-10.000 1. The Minister of State has agreed to this measure for the time being with regard to the emergency situation. The Minister for Agriculture and Forestry will be required to work to improve milk supply by producers under the threat that, if further deterioration occurs, only the supply of milk to Germans and industrial workers by the market association would be ensured.
