Friedrichs and Sommer nr. loo 529 n.nr. 1182 ===EEBE=EEEE Lieber Pg Friedrichs. Today's issue of the time reports that via proposal of the Gauleider and SS-Oberführer Ing. Jung the old nationalso=Zialist fighter Ings. Brehm was awarded the Golden Medal of Honor because he had worked in the Sudeten German Brotherhood Action. On December 12, l938, I announced my statement on a letter from Mr. Brehm dated October 7, l938 to the deputy representative of the Führer, Mr. Reichsminister Rudolf Hess. In this opinion I drew a character picture of Mr. Brehm and described his hostile opinion against the SdP, which was dictated by personal hatred. This gentleman now receives the Golden Medal of Honour, i.e. about the suggestion of the Gauleiter and SS.- Oberführer Jung without the knowledge and agreement of the Gauleiter Konrad Henlein. The award of the Golden Medal to Mr. Brehm is, in my opinion, 1.) of a catastrophic effect in the whole of Sudeten- , which is still very closely linked to the recent personal attacks by Mr. brehm against Konrad ./.
